Biography
The Surrogate Band was formed in 2000 by "Blind Dog" Pete Deshler (Lead Vocals/Bass Guitar) and Timoteo (Guitar/Vocals). Pete and Tim originally met in 1990 at Parkland High School in Orefield, PA. For the next 10 years they would collaborate off and on in different groups. The name of their band comes from the Pink Floyd album "The Wall". There's no real definite way to describe the musical style that The Surrogate Band plays. It has little bits of classic rock, punk, progressive rock, and psychedelic rock. Pete and Tim have basically taken their influences and mixed them all together to make some pretty cool rock'n'roll music.
