Don't miss The Surrogate Band performing live at Slider's Pub in
Schnecksville, PA at 10 PM on Wednesday, October 5th!

That's Tonight!

SEPTEMBER

So far this September The Surrogate Band has really been rockin' out!  We helped Phil Stahl

begin a new Open Mic Night in Alburtis, PA, at the Iron Horse Inn.  On September 6th Timoteo

rocked three open mics in one night- The Wildflower Cafe, Hary's, and Slider's Pub!  We still haven't

been offered any gigs but we're not giving up.  We're going to keep rockin' until we get one...then

we're gonna rock even harder! So if you know we're playing come and cheer for us.

In October we're hoping to be involved in some videotaping for Phil Stahl's cable TV show. Woo!

See ya next month!

August is almost over and here's what we've done...

Most of August was spent going to the open mic at the Wildflower Cafe in Bethlehem and Timoteo went to the

Madison Ridge Tavern a bunch of times to play solo.  Tim began attending the Leechboy hosted open mic at

Slider's Pub in Schnecksville, PA.  After 3 weeks that has turned out to be a good location.  Pete and Tim are still trying to nail down their first official gig as The Surrogate Band.  Right now there is one hopeful location - Madison Ridge Tavern in New Tripoli.  Pete and Tim decided to take a break from the Wildflower for a few weeks.  We will return later and see how it goes then.  In September Pete and Tim will continue to perform at the Madison Ridge Tavern open mic hosted by our good friend Phil Stahl.  They will also take some time to practice and learn a few new songs.  See ya soon!

Here's a recap of July...

(notes by Timoteo)

On Tuesday, June 21st we played at Hary's in the Hotel Traylor, in Allentown, PA.  Phil Stahl digitally recorded a 10 song set for segment on his radio show called the New Music Spotlight.  (The airdate of this performance has not been determined yet.)  Overall the performance went well and both Pete and I were very pleased.

On Wednesday, June 22nd we performed live on The Phil Stahl Local Music Scene radio show which airs on WXLV 90.3 FM from Schnecksville, PA. This performance was also very good. We got to play 8 songs and plug our website! Then at 8 p.m. that night we performed a 10 song set at the Madison Ridge Tavern in New Tripoli, PA.  This performance was very well done also!  We are now waiting to hear about details for a gig in the near future at the Madison Ridge Tavern.

Things to Look Forward to...

Coming up on our schedule we will be performing at the Wildflower Cafe in Bethlehem, PA, on Tuesday June 28 at the open mic night held there once a week.  Our performance should be around 9:15 p.m. On Wednesday night we will travel back to New Tripoli for the open mic night there. Our performance there should b around 9 p.m.
